Clocks and sunshine

I recently read a graphic novel about the life of surreal artist, Dalí. It was a very interesting and beautifully illustrated novel. I think most of us know of this eccentric man, my father had a big coffee table book of his works, and with every visit to Florida I've made I've been told "you must visit the Dalí museum!" I intend to, although not certain of when I'll be able to make it back to Florida. Anyway, he was obsessed with the idea of immortality, even thinking it was something he was reserved to. DALÍ not my father, I think though deep down it is reflected in his art how he struggles with the concept of life and death. I'm sure at a certain point it's something all humans struggle with.

I recently lost someone I cared for, also a Florida sunshine angel of woman, her name was Ruth Madsen. She passed on the 15th of June. She was a generous soul and she is already so deeply missed.
